Document Queue

The Document Queue allows a document to be queued for generation so the user does not have to wait for the document to be generated.   Thus the user can continue with their work and then retrieve the document when they require it.

 

The document is placed on the document queue there they are processed in order of queuing. To see the documents in your queue go the Dashboard and then click on the document queue tab, this will show all the documents that you have added to the queue.   The status of the document will indicate whether the document has been Created or is still waiting to be processed [Queued].

 

If a document has been created then the user can view/edit the document or go to the record which the document is attached to [e.g. the client record]. Once the document is created it will be attached to the record it is associated with [as per normal document generation]  E.g. If with the document was created for a client Record then if you go to the client's document tab you will see the generated document has been attached to the Client record automatically.

 

The document queue menu allows the user to:

 

clip3526 - Clear the selected items from the queue

clip3527 - Assign the selected items to another users queue

clip3528 - Print selected items

clip3530 - If a document fails to generate or you wish to create it again then you can re-queue the document which places it back onto the queue
