The Automated Jobs can be scheduled individually to your own needs.

In Admin, under Company, select clip2714 from the side menu.  You will be presented with a list of batch jobs that have been pre-defined for UnderwriterCENTRAL™.

Title: This is for your reference so you know what the job is for.

Name: This is used when creating the job on the server.  You can re-name the jobs if required.

USP: This is the actual name of the stored procedure that is executed and should not be changed.

Enabled: This check box turns the job on or off on the server.

Note: If required, you can set up jobs for individual products.  If this is to be done, the individual settings for the product must also be set up.  However, this should be the exception rather than the rule.

The remaining columns go to determine the actual schedule for the job.  These can be Schedule Type:

Once

Daily

Weekly

Monthly (fixed or relative)

The combination of the next few columns make up the schedule.

Note: There are some columns that are not relative depending upon the schedule type.  For instance, monthly specific is only relative when setting up a fixed monthly schedule; i.e. the 15th of every month; or monthly relative is only valid  for relative monthly schedules; i.e. the last day of every month; and neither are applicable to a "Once" schedule.

Depending upon the recurrence, the 4 Auto Renewal type jobs should be set up with similar schedules; i.e. if the run is weekly, the other jobs should also be weekly.

It is recommended that the "Auto Renewal Create Reminder Task for Run" is scheduled with enough time in advance to allow a review of the report before the run itself occurs.

It is recommended that the "Auto Renewal Generate Policy Documents" is scheduled by itself one evening to ensure maximum amount of time is allowed to generate the documents.

If you would like to run this weekly, the schedule could look like this:

Wednesday Night – "Auto Renewal Create Reminder Task for Run" so that the admin person has Thursday and Friday to review and mark any as excluded that should be.

Sunday Night – "Auto Renewal Run Process - Create Applications" so that they are ready to go for Monday morning

Saturday Afternoon/Night – "Auto Renewal Generate Policy Documents" so that they have the weekend to generate – depending upon the numbers this may only take an hour or may take a day so allow lots of time to be certain.

Friday Night – "Auto Reminders Generate Documents" so that these too can be ready for Monday morning.

Should you choose to run this weekly, you may even choose not to enable the "Auto Renewal Create Reminder Task for Run" job, as it is the same every week.  This becomes more important, if you are running monthly or on an ad hoc basis.

You will notice that the document generation does not have to follow after the renewal run.  As the steps are independent, any policy marked as Ready To Send during the week will be picked up and have documents generated.  If a policy is missed (i.e. the status was not set until after the job executed) it will simply be picked up in the next run.
