The Reverse Function applies to records which have an invoice applied to them but where no money has been paid on the invoice.
Note: If there are associated Attachments, Documents or claims that have been added to the Policy then you must remove the Attachments, Documents and/or Claim prior to using the Remove Function
1. Choose from the Policy side menu and you will be presented with a pop up window.
2. | Check the box if the reversal is due to non-payment and click on . This will copy the data from the selected policy to a cancellation quote. It will then bind that quote and raise a Credit Note against the Invoice. A new quotation and option will be created automatically and you will be taken to the quotation details screen. |
3. | Follow the same steps as for a New Business, Renewal or Endorsement. If the user decides not to take up the newly created quotation they can then set the status accordingly [i.e. Not Taken Up]. Otherwise it is just a matter of updating the details of the new quotation. |
4. | Click on to discontinue the reverse. |
