Click on the clip3018 Tab to view or edit any Policy Wordings.  These Wordings can be included in your Policy Documents tab (the Wordings have been set-up by your system Administrator).

Once the user has Accepted a Quotation and created a Bound Policy, any Default Policy Wordings will already be saved against the associated Paragraph.

The administrator may have assigned one or more of your Quotation Paragraphs to override one or more of your Policy Paragraphs (see Paragraph Defaults in Admin). This allows the user to include that Quotation Paragraph (complete with any of the changes made to the Paragraph at the Quotation level [appending additional wordings, changing text etc]) across as the Default Policy Paragraph.

Any Wordings  associated to be Defaults for any of the 4 Policy Paragraphs will appear here once the user Loads that Paragraph (unless they have been overridden Using Default Paragraphs in Admin (see above). Note that Policy Paragraph 1 (the user may have changed the name of this paragraph in Admin) will already be loaded when  first entering this screen.   Select the Paragraph from the drop-down and click Load. All the Wordings you have set as Defaults for that Paragraph will open.   Edit these as required here.

If the user allocates new Defaults in Admin at a later date, the user can  come back in, select the Paragraph from the drop-down and click Reload Defaults. This will replace the original Paragraph Wordings with the new Default Wordings. Note that by doing this the user will lose any specific changes made to these wordings here.

Remember to save each Paragraph to keep  changes before loading another Paragraph or exiting this screen.

In Addition to getting the Defaults, the user has access to all of the Wordings (defaults or not) for the area (Policy), that are associated with the Paragraph you are in.   The user can see these wordings under the Wordings List.   Any Wordings can be appended from this list to the existing Paragraph Default.   Remember that the order in which  these additional Wording is added is the order in which they will be appended to the Paragraph.

Because the user is able to associate a given Wording to more than one Paragraph across multiple Wording Types (eg: Quotation, Client, Insurer, etc.), the user can also select to Reset List of the Wordings. This will replace the Policy Wordings currently in the Wording List with the Wordings (only those that have been associated with the particular Policy Paragraph currently open) from the area  chosen, allowing the user to append any of these to the Paragraph currently in.

When the administrator sets up wordings, they may decide to assign some to a specific Product Type or even a specific Product, thus they will only be available for that Product Type or Product. Alternatively they can be left open to use more broadly.
