This screen contains the Policy information for the Client.

 

This detail is carried forward from the accepted option on a quotation that has been bound.

 

 

•Policy No: This can be pre-set using business rules, or may be entered

•Broker Policy Ref: Enter the brokers policy reference if applicable

•Closing Ok: Check this when the closing from the broker has been checked to ensure all information is correct.

•Debt Collection: This denotes that the policy has gone to debt collection due to non payment

•Inception Date: This is the inception Date of the policy.

•Term: Term is deemed as month, 12 for 12 months, 24 for 24 months etc...

•Bind Date: This is the date the policy was bound.

•Expiry Date - This date is the date the Policy expires (this should be your Inception Date plus your total Term). This is the date that tells UnderwriterCENTRAL™ when to put a Renewal Notice into your Dashboard's Renewals Due area (2 months before Policy Expires, and leaves any un-renewed Policies there for one month after they have expired)

•Retroactive Date – Click to insert the retroactive date if applicable.  A retroactive date may be entered by the insurer on the Declarations Page of a "claims made" policy. This provision establishes that no claims for injury of damage that occurred before the Retroactive Date will be covered by that policy.

•Bind Request Date – Click  to insert the Bind Request date received from the Client.

•Underwriter Office: Defaults to the office that relates to the user that is logged into the system.

•Underwriter: Defaults to the user that is logged in to the system.

•FSRA Type: Select if this is a Retail or a Wholesale Product.

•Authorised Rep: This is the managing entity (company) that is the Authorised Rep for this policy if applicable

•Authorised Rep Contact: This is the Contact at the Authorised Rep's Company.

•Introducer: This shows the managing entity (company) that is the introducer for this policy if applicable.

•Introducer Contact: This is the Contact at the Introducer's Company.

•Included Other Parties: Related clients that have been included under the cover of this policy are shown here.
